2026/11 - Creating Test Automation In UNITY/UNREAL With Coding Agents (Andrew Fray)

Old bugs are expensive. While they remain live they impact developer productivity and the ability to playtest. And when they finally get resolved, the fix is slower and more complicated than could have been. But committing to fixing bugs early means also finding them early, for which test automation remains an incredibly powerful tool. Combine that with the opportunities created by coding agents, and you can very quickly grow an effective test suite for an existing project. This course will help you learn the basics of test automation, the most powerful test archetypes for games, and how to prompt and review coding agents to help you create valuable tests. I - Fail Early, Fail Hard II - Bang For Buck Testing III - Deeper System Testing IV - Creating Sustainable Tests Remote training from November 23rd to November 26th 2026, from 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm (CET) every day

Objectifs de la formation

  • Using assertions and design-by-contract to create gameplay code that fails quickly and informatively
  • Creating agent md files and skills to help test suite creation
  • Understand the built-in tooling available in [Unity/Unreal]
