2026/07 - Marketing sustainability in games (Valentina Marchetti)

Today, players are not just looking for entertainment. They are looking for meaning, belonging, and ways to act in a complex world. When players feel part of something meaningful, they engage differently. They stay longer. They share more. Sustainability in games is not a trend, it is an opportunity to connect stories, studios and communities to something larger than themselves. And it starts with you. If you want to help shape a games industry that reflects the world we hope to live in, and build marketing strategies that inspire participation rather than just attention, this masterclass will give you clarity, structure and practical tools to begin. Drawing on nearly two decades across mobile, PC and console, spanning franchise leadership, AAA development, sustainability advisory and game culture curation, Valentina will guide you on how to design campaigns that connect narrative, partnerships and community into meaningful, measurable impact. July 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th - 10:00am-12:00pm every day (CET Time) - Remote training I - Understand Sustainability as an Interconnected System II - Identify Impact Opportunities in Games III - Learn to Translate Purpose into Campaign Strategy IV - Master a Sustainability Campaign Framework and its KPIs V - Build Meaningful Partnerships

Valentina Marchetti is a product, brand, and marketing strategist with nearly 20 years of experience across mobile, PC, and console games. She has led the global growth of the Hungry Shark franchise at Future Games of London, contributed to The Division at Red Storm Entertainment, and supported sustainability and positive play initiatives within Ubisoft’s CSR team. She also advised the Playing for the Planet Alliance during its early development. Her work sits at the intersection of commercial performance, sustainability, and systems thinking. Alongside her industry career, she has over 25 years of experience in mindfulness and contemplative practices, which inform her approach to leadership, strategy, and decision-making. Today, she supports teams and leaders in rethinking how success is defined — helping them design strategies, partnerships, and KPIs that are not only effective, but also aligned with long-term impact and the holistic wellbeing of both organisations and individuals. Her work increasingly focuses on bridging business, personal alignment, and positive impact — guiding people and systems to reconnect with their core, clarify their direction, and bring more conscious, meaningful work into the world.
